How do I get Started
Register Online as a Consignor for the Fredericksburg Sale
Go through your children's closets, dressers and play rooms. Find all of the clothes and toys your kids have out grown or have grown tired of and put it aside for the Kids Kloset. (see our Items We Accept page for a full list of accpeted items.)
Organize and hang clothing. Hang all clothing items on the hanger with the hook facing left (the top of the hanger should look like a question mark).
Gather up toys and make sure any electronic toys have working batteries in them. Put small toys in ziploc bags. If you have a large toy with small pieces tape the ziploc bag to the larger toy and mark the bag with your consignor number in case it gets disconnected from the large toy.
Head to your computer and enter your items into our online database. It is quick and easy to use.

Print your price tags on a regular printer with white cardstock paper (Price tags printed on non cardstock paper will not be accepted). Color ink is not necessary to print the tags.
Put your price tags on the right side of the garment using a safety pin.
Shoes can be tied together by the shoe laces, but the most effective method is to zip tie the shoes together to ensure they do not get seperated. Then run the tag with safety pin around the zip tie.
Your garment should look like this once completed

When you arrive at our location one of our friendly volunteers will check your items to make sure they meet our quality standards. Once your clothing is checked you are responsible for hanging clothing on the appropriate racks according to size and gender (they will be clearly labeled). You will also place any non clothing merchandise in the appropriate places. We will have volunteers on the sales floor to assist you in placing your items.
Drop off should take approximately 30 minutes or less depending on how organized you are and how many items you have. Having your clothing separated by size and gender will shorten your drop off time.
Before you leave, make sure to get your pre-sale pass!
Come back and shop early at the pre-sale.
Each night you will be able to log on to your consignor account and view your sold items.
At the end of the sale you have the option to pick up your items during our pick up times. Any items not picked up will become property of Kids Kloset. Most items will be donated to a local charity.
Checks for sold items will be mailed by Tuesday following the sale.
